FIREQUEST: Scavenger Hunt and Hothouse Fundraiser

Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center invites you to FIREQUEST, our annual scavenger hunt and fundraiser! Compete for prizes by finding hot, sparky, or fiery items, and visiting public artworks and local businesses along the way.

If scavenging isn't your thing, join us from 6:30 to 9 p.m. for a Hothouse-style party, turned up a few degrees! We'll celebrate the scavenger hunt winners and you'll be able support CAFAC's work while enjoying fire arts demonstrations, a gallery show, and a pop-up art market. You'll be treated to sweet and hot New Orleans jazz by Southside Aces, followed by blazing feats of fire performance by Insphyre Performance, and a Fire in Ice metal pour with Pedal to the Metal Traveling Foundry. Featured food from our hot & smoky neighbors Smoke in the Pit and Funky Grits is included with your ticket. 

Proceeds from cash (only) bar, art market, and raffle tickets for artist-made items created at the event will help CAFAC keep sparking creativity and fueling community!

Ticket prices:

• Scavenger Hunt + Hothouse Fundraiser Party (ADULTS): $35
• Scavenger Hunt + Hothouse Fundraiser Party (KIDS): $15
• Hothouse Fundraiser Party only (ADULTS): $30 advance/$35 door
• Hothouse Fundraiser Party only (KIDS): $15 advance/$20 door
• Kids 5 and under free 

Scavenger Hunt details:

• Gather at CAFAC at 3 p.m. to get the scavenger hunt list. Depart on the hunt at 3:30.
• Return to CAFAC with your loot no later than 6 p.m. 
• Join the Hothouse Fundraiser Party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. (scavengers get one free drink ticket!)
• Winners announced around 7:30 p.m. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize packages will be awarded.
  

There aren't many rules:

• Each participant must be registered for this fundraising event.
  
• You're welcome and encouraged to participate as a team, it just means you'll share a prize package if your team is victorious.
  
• In the case of a tie, CAFAC will devise an alternate method to choose the winners, which may be a random drawing.
