Registration

Adult: – $25.00
For "grownup" scavenger hunters ages 18 and over.
Youth: – $15.00
For scavenger hunters ages 17 and under.

Note: you can register for multiple people at once, but they have to be the same ticket type (adult or youth). Please complete separate registrations if you need to buy adult and youth tickets.

Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center invites you to our inaugural scavenger hunt fundraiser! Compete for semi-fabulous prize packages by finding hot, sparky, or fiery items, and visiting public artworks along the way. Afterward, join us for a CAFAC-style party to celebrate the winners!

The details:

Gather at CAFAC at 3 p.m. to get the scavenger hunt list.
Depart on the hunt at 3:30.
Return to CAFAC with your loot no later than 7 p.m.
Party (snacks, beverages & entertainment) from 7 to 10 p.m.
Winners announced around 8:30 p.m.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize packages will be awarded.

There aren't many rules:

Each participant must be registered for this fundraising event.
You're welcome and encouraged to participate as a team, it just means you'll share a prize package if your team is victorious.
In the case of a tie, CAFAC will devise an alternate method to choose the winners, which may be a random drawing.

The CAFAC Scavenger Hunt is open to all ages and includes the party. Adult tickets are $25 and youth tickets are $15.

You'll be hunting for a variety of items, some more challenging than others to find. You can also earn points by finding public artworks within a few mile radius of CAFAC, and documenting your visit with a photo posted to our social media or emailed to us.

The main goal is for you to have fun while supporting a community-based arts organization and the hundreds of learners and artists we serve every year!
